Which frame rates?
24, 30 and 60 fps. Every family has a Power Bin for each.
Do I need S-Log3?
Only for the Powergrade and the two Legacy VHS looks. Everything else works on any footage.
I already bought Starter. Do I pay full price?
No. What you paid for Starter comes off Pro Editor. DM us on Instagram or email aiden@rookdm.com with your order email for the code.
I already bought the old ROOK VHS.
Ultimate VHS is a new pack, not an update. Past ROOK VHS buyers get a code that brings Ultimate VHS to $15 on its own, or buy Pro Editor and get all four.
When does the price go up?
$69 until Thu Oct 22, then $79 from Fri Oct 23.
Do I need DaVinci Resolve Studio?
Yes. The effects need DaVinci Resolve Studio, the paid version. They won’t run on the free version of Resolve.
Mac or Windows?
Both. The install guide has the folder paths for each.
Can I use it on client work?
Yes, on anything you edit. Don’t share or resell the files.
Do I get updates?
Yes, free, for life. Download the new version from your Payhip link, unzip over the old one, restart Resolve, then delete the old bin and import the new one.
