Who we are
ROOK sells digital products — presets, effects, transitions and PowerGrades for DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro and Adobe Lightroom. This site is operated by Aiden Day (ROOK Sports Marketing), based in Kentucky, United States.

What we collect
Information you give us. When you buy something, our checkout provider Payhip collects your name, email address and payment details in order to process the order and deliver your files. We receive your name, email and order details. We never see or store your full card number — that stays with Payhip and their payment processors.
Information collected automatically. When you browse this site we collect standard technical data: pages viewed, referring links, approximate location derived from your IP address, device and browser type, and how you interact with the page.
The Meta Pixel
This site uses the Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram advertising tools). It records when you view a page, view a specific product, and click a Buy button, and it sends that activity to Meta along with an identifier that Meta may match to your Facebook or Instagram account.
We use it to measure whether our ads work and to show ads to people likely to be interested in our products. Our checkout provider Payhip also fires the same pixel when a purchase completes on their domain.
You can control this. Meta's ad preferences let you limit how your activity is used, and most browsers and mobile operating systems offer tracking controls — on iOS, Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Blocking the pixel does not affect your ability to browse or buy here.
Cookies and similar technologies
The Meta Pixel sets cookies. This site also uses your browser's session storage to remember campaign parameters (which ad or link brought you here) for the length of your visit. We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles beyond what the Meta Pixel does, and we do not run third-party ad networks on this site.
Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the services that make this business run:
- Payhip — checkout, payment processing and file delivery
- Meta Platforms — advertising measurement and targeting, via the pixel described above
- Vercel — website hosting, which keeps standard server logs
Each of these has its own privacy policy governing what it does with that data. We may also disclose information if required by law.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as needed to support your purchase and to meet tax and accounting obligations. Analytics and advertising data is retained according to Meta's own retention schedules.
Your rights
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email aiden@rookdm.com and we'll respond within 30 days.
If you're in California, the CCPA gives you rights to know, delete, and opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information — note that using advertising pixels can count as "sharing" under that law, and the controls above are how you opt out. If you're in the UK or EU, the UK GDPR and GDPR give you rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and objection. We honour these requests regardless of where you live.
Children
This site and these products are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information we'll update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
